The Board of
Directors for the Port Warwick Conservancy is elected by all Owners having
voting rights. The board consists of 7 members. Typically three
directors represent Class A owners (residential lot), two represent Class B
owners (multifamily lot), and two represent Class C owners (commercial
lot). Except for the initial Board which was elected to staggered
terms, a board member is elected for three years. The Board of
Directors is elected to manage the business affairs of the Conservancy in
accordance with the procedures and for the terms of office set forth in
Article 5 of the Articles of Incorporation. The Board performs duties
and takes action in behalf of the Conservancy as defined in Article 4 of the
Bylaws. The
principal officers of the Conservancy are the President (who serves as
Chairman of the Board), the Vice President, the Secretary, and the
Treasurer. The officers are elected by the Board of Directors.
The Board of
Directors meets on a regular basis on the third Monday of each month.
The meetings currently take place at the Arbors in Port
Warwick. |
